208th Assault Battalion Battle of the planet Darkasa Assault on Hill - 517

The 208th was tasked with taking over the CIS occupied planet known as Darkasa. It's basically like vietnam but with clones as americans (who won btw) and the droids as vietnamese. After the clones landed on the platform taking heavy casualties as they do so they make their way capturing and taking over bases, checkpoints, bunkers, etc. The clones had the disadvantage because the 208th was barely skiled in grassy and thick tall grass-like terrain. Nevertheless the clones managed to push through and capture the planet along with the help of the planet's military.

Hill Base 517
After 6 weeks of being on the planet the troopers were battle hardened and ready for any ambushes, orders came in to General Seymour and Commander Update saying they've spotted an enemy base that is heavily fortified and has important intel, and is lead by a Separatist Leader. The orders were to assault the hill base with everything they've got, Update and Seymour followed orders and told all troopers to get ready and gear up, Lieutenant Arrow-Head, Captain Bluth, Lieutenant Patriot, and Sergeant Dab, and all their co - pilots got their LAAT's ready.

After gearing up all 208th personnel were called into the mission room for the briefing on how they will assault this "Hill base". Update and Connor got word the 501st will be assisting them and will flank from the south, So they planned to attack from the front, the west, and will have air and tank support. Reserve companies will hang back just in case the assault goes west and the attackers are in need of reinforcements, there would also be some republic commandos lead by Captain Clay ,they were to infiltrate the base and sabotaging. After the mission briefing the 208th got in the gunships and the pilots started making their way to the hill base.

Moments after some hours pass Captain Bluth could see the hill base "I see em, prepare for landing boys!" he says but before he starts to land the LAAT's are hit by extreme flack cannons. The cannons took out 2 gunships, 1 of them carrying the commandos and the other carrying an AT-TE. The pilots started emergency landing but took fire from the droid infantry in the trees, "Looks like we have a hot LZ, we shouldn't land yet!" one of the rookie pilots says, "It's alright, just get us as close as you can" Sergeant Sledge replies. The doors opened and the troopers opened fire on the droids, clearing the way and making it a little safer for the pilots to get close, when they did Commander Update yelled "JUMP OFF!!". Every trooper jumps out the lat and starts laying down suppressing fire at the droids in the trees, moments pass and the area is clear... so far.

After setting up camp in the trees near the base Update sends a squad of 6: Captain Caution (As the leader) - Private Jester (The soon to be Sergeant) - Sergeant Bacta (The medic) - Corporal Cobra (The jet trooper) - Sergeant Tracer (The Weapons Specialist)/ Boom Boom - Rookie Shiny (The Distraction). they were told to scout on the south, then head west and set charges on any explosives they find. Connor made a 2nd squad of 4: ARC Lieutenant Clancy (The leader) - ARC Sergeant Sledge (The Tactic Specialist) - Lieutenant Azaha (The Medic) - 2nd Lieutenant Kenshin (Tech Specialist). They were tasked with salvaging the wreckage of the downed Commando LAAT and the AT-TE Carrier LAAT and search for survivors and missing equipment.

After the 2 squads were deployed Update grabbed 7 troopers: Corporal Lucid (His closest brother since Geonosis) - ARC Major Domm (Right hand man) - Lieutenant Fang (Trusted Brother) - ARC Major Sketch (2nd Closest brother) - Commander Connor (Second leader) - Sergeant Major Phantom (Recon) - and Corporal All-Star (Another Distraction), Commander Hel' Undu tagged along for the fun of it as well. They went to go meet up with the 501st to share and exchange battle plans and strategies.

Pre-Assault of Hill Base 517 - Sequence 1
After Update and his handful of troopers left their base Update and Connor told everyone where they were headed to, "Were going to meet up with the 501st so we can share and exchange battle plans and tactic. We are allowed to speak quietly since you all have terrible ADHD (joke) but as soon as any one of us hears anything.. Zip IT. Am I Understood, Soldiers?" Everyone replies "Sir, Yes, SIr!". And the group starts making their way through the swampy jungle.

Cutting back to Caution's scouting party, they made it to the south side of the base and started setting charges on explosive barrels and they also sabotaged 2 droid machine guns and have made it back to base. Shiny was used as a distraction because he has a big ass target on his armor with words in aurebesh saying : "Target practice clankers!" written on top of the target, props to him for not dying.
